I finally broke out the "Kramer" knife I got for Christmas 2008. Yup, it took that long and I'm sorry now. It's fantastic and I may never use my old favorite anymore. Now about that Bob Dylan Christmas CD I got for Christmas 2009...guess I should give that a try (not!!).
Ooooo. I've heard really good things about the Shun--I think I even used one when I was visiting Z at one of his fancy house-sitting gigs.
ReplyDeleteBut I could never switch. I feel a strange sense of obligation to my old favorite knife, which is just about the only material object that I'm attached to (a Global knife--one of the rarer forged model--that I bought for myself over 10 years ago).
